It may be a bit difficult to come up with delicious, mouth-watering and most importantly, frugal appetizer ideas for weddings. Check some interesting recipes for the same.
Weddings cannot do without food and food cannot do without appetizers. Be it any kind of main course meal, appetizers are one great way to keep the guests busy until the meal is served. As the name suggests, appetizers stimulate the appetite and make the main meal more enjoyable.

The Ideas

Recipe #1

Requirements:
Cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
Pecans, finely chopped - 2 cups
Green bell pepper, finely chopped - ¼ cup
Onion, grated - 2 tbsp.
Seasoning salt - 2 tsp.
Crackers, any
Preparation:
Form a ball of the mix of all the ingredients. Remember to use only a cup of the pecans. The rest of the pecans have to be reserved for toppings. Refrigerate it overnight and before serving, roll the ball in the pecans. Add crackers to the servings.

Recipe #2

Requirements:
Cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
Green onions, chopped - 3
Dried beef, chopped - 1 package
Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp.
Seasoning salt
Preparation:
Save some of the chopped beef before you mix the cream cheese, beef, onions, salt, and sauce. Mix these well and chill. Form into balls and roll over the remaining chopped beef. Serve or let it chill till desired.

Recipe #3

Requirements:
Scallions, finely chopped - ½ cup
Parsley, chopped very fine - ½ cup
Mayonnaise - 1 cup
Horseradish - 2 tbsp.
Zatarain's mustard - 1 jar
Red pepper sauce
Lemon juice
Medium shrimp, boiled, de-veined - 2 lbs
Preparation:
Fold the shrimp and mix all the ingredients. Marinate for 1 whole day. Serve one shrimp to a cracker.

Recipe #4

Requirements:
Cucumber - sliced in rounded shapes
Shredded chicken - 6 oz
Strawberries, fresh and finely chopped - ½ cup
Light mayonnaise - ¼ cup
Dill, dried - ¼ tsp.
Salt - ¼ tsp.
Pepper - 1/8 tsp.

Preparation:

Add the strawberries to the chicken. Add mayonnaise and seasonings. Put the mixture as toppings over the cucumber slices and serve.

Recipe #5

Requirements:
Sour cream - ½ cup
Cream cheese - 3 oz
Pineapple, crushed - ½ cup
Sugar - 1 tsp.
Preparation:
Take a medium bowl to combine all the ingredients to make a mixture. Stir well until the mix becomes smooth. Simply keep it in the freezer, an hour before serving.

Recipe #6

Requirements:
Lemon juice, fresh - 2 tbsp.
Mayonnaise - ½ cup
Cooked chicken, diced - 3 ½ cups
Almond - 1/3 cup
Mini slider rolls - 12
Celery - 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

In one bowl, make a mixture of the juice, mayo, and salt. Add this to the chicken, celery, and almonds in another bowl. The mini slider rolls will be used for servings.

Requirements:
Horseradish - 2 tbsp.
Vinegar - 2 tbsp.
Catsup - 1 cup
Onion, cut into cubes - 1 tbsp.
Celery, finely minced - 1 tbsp.
Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp.
Oysters, freshly-shucked
Preparation:
This is one of the most easiest and quickest recipes. You have just blend and chill all the ingredients and voila! Serve with the oysters.
