Here are a few suggestions for keeping dress fittings as stress-free as possible.

You have dreamed about getting married for years, and your time has finally arrived. Prince Charming came into your life, won your heart and asked for your hand in marriage. It is a fairytale come true, and you are on cloud nine. When it comes time to plan for the ceremony, no doubt that you want everything to be perfect.
One of the biggest decisions to be made will be what attire you will wear for that all-important walk down the aisle. With the search months in advance of your date, you may find “the one” right away, or you may need to shop high and low for that perfect dress, and you will want to make sure it fits perfectly on the big day!

1. Be Mindful of Your Diet

Whether you would like to shed just a few pounds for comfort, or you simply need to maintain your current weight, it best to stay focused on nutritious foods and avoid anything laden with empty carbs and added sugar, which are sure to thwart your plans for a streamlined bridal silhouette.
Keep yourself fueled with healthy grab-and-go snacks like nuts, low fat yogurt and sliced vegetables or fruits. Having regular snacks will be crucial as your wedding day approaches and you are busy with shopping, celebrations and rehearsals. If your blood sugar tends to drop if you go too long without a meal, try to plan for lunch or dinner breaks.
Take advantage of this time to not only nourish your body, but also feed your soul with fun, laughter and the company of friends and family. This way, you can take care of multiple needs at once, save yourself time and the appearance of those dreaded extra inches!

2. Watch the Water

It goes without saying that downing sugary drinks like sodas and syrupy coffee concoctions adds unnecessary calories to your daily dietary habits, but what you don’t put into your body also has a negative impact on your weight. The human body needs regular hydration, and water is above all the best beverage for your health.
As you consume water, your body flushes out toxins and keeps your organs running smoothly. But when you don’t get enough water, your system cannot flush out the toxins because it also needs what fluid it does get in order to function. As a result, you will retain water rather than expel it.
So if you find that your clothing feels a bit too snug, or if you have been trying without much success to lose weight, you should examine your water intake and determine if you really have a water weight issue.
While it is usually relatively simple to remedy, be sure to do some research on how to lose water weight safely and effectively so that you can get the most benefit from your efforts. As long as you take the appropriate action, you will see results and be able to easily maintain them.

3. Take Time for Activities

While dashing around town taking care of errands may feel like a workout, it is probably not intense enough to count as exercise. Allowing yourself time to go to the gym or to go for a jog will help you to burn calories and clear your head at the same time.
You don’t have to stay on the treadmill for an hour a pop, but do make an effort to get regular breaks for getting your heart rate up and stretching your muscles, even if it is only for fifteen minutes. You will notice that, as your muscles tone and your calories are burned, you feel calmer and your fantastic wedding gown fits better and looks incredible.
