Tropical flower arrangements for weddings are slowly becoming popular due to the bold colors and varying sizes of these flowers. Here are some tips on how to make a wedding flower arrangement with tropical flowers.

How to Make a Tropical Floral Arrangement
Tropical flowers are most suitable for informal, outdoor weddings. If you are opting for a Hawaiian wedding theme or a beach wedding then these beautiful flowers can be used easily in various decorations. Fall and summer wedding decorations can also look fabulous with a splash of color.
You can use tropical flowers everywhere throughout the wedding decoration. They can be used to make delicate bridal hair accessories or prominent altar decorations.
Yellow hibiscus: This is the state flower of Hawaii, with a luscious fragrance. You can tie these large flowers together for decorating the altar. A single flower tied with a silk ribbon suffices the need for the wedding pew. However, due to their size, they are not suitable for table decoration or in centerpieces.
Yellow ilima: This a smaller version of the yellow hibiscus. It can be used in almost any flower decoration. If white is the theme of your wedding, then a lovely dash of yellow would look absolutely stunning.
These pretty flowers also look fabulous when combined with purple or lavender flowers. They can also be used for bridal hair decoration. However, you may not easily find these tropical flowers.
The golden plumeria: These exotic flowers offer a very different look as decorations with their bright golden yellow color. They look beautiful in bridal bouquets. They are easier to work with, you can use them for hair decoration. These flowers can be used as beautifully decorated centerpieces.
Ohia: This is another tropical flower that is native to Big Island. It comes in vibrant colors of red, orange, yellow, and white. Arrange these flowers with suitable greenery to make a marvelous flower arrangement. Add some small kukui blossoms as fillers in this type of floral arrangement.
Orchids: These are considered as the king of tropical flowers. They come in a variety of colors such as pink, purple, and white.
Purple orchids are the most commonly used variety of orchids. They signify love and romance, hence, their use in wedding decorations is justified. They look equally stunning in bridal bouquets as well as centerpieces.
Gladiolus: This is a large flower with a long stalk. The perfectly round bloom of gladiolus makes it a favorite in flower arrangements. It is found in several dazzling colors such as pink, white, yellow, orange, red, burgundy etc. Simply tying a bunch of these with a satin ribbon or tulle makes for a perfect bridal bouquet for summer weddings.
