Thus, for a tropical-themed wedding, you require tropical flowers. These blossoms are so versatile and beautiful that you can use them in all sorts of themes.

Flowers

Tropical flowers are bright in color, and they are available throughout the year. They give a unique look to the decor.

Anthuriums

Anthuriums, popularly known as Flamingo flowers or Painted tongue, are beautiful blossoms with vibrant colors that include red, pink, burgundy, green, and white. This plant belongs to the tropical regions of America and is popularly used in weddings. The main characteristic of anthuriums are their heart shapes.
They can be used in various arrangements like bouquets. Since they are large in size, you can make very attractive table centerpieces with them. Anthuriums also give an exotic look when combined with roses. One variety of anthuriums have a tulip-like shape with purple shades and can be used in various ways as decorations.

Orchids

Orchids are versatile in nature and are very popular among brides. With their delicate shapes and pretty colors like pink, white, and red, they are perfect for such occasions. There are several varieties of orchids like the boat orchids and moth orchids.
The boat orchids are sturdy and are large in size. Phalaenopsis is a delicate variety of orchid known for its white and pink shades. It is a perfect choice for bridal bouquets. Orchids can be used in a variety of arrangements like hair pieces, boutonnieres, corsages, etc.

Heliconia

Heliconias belong to the Americas and some parts of the Pacific islands. They have very unique shapes and can be used to make splendid centerpieces. Because of the interesting shape you can use them to create breathtaking bouquets and other decorations. Their orange and red shades look very elegant for different arrangements. Their natural shape and colors are so exotic that they will not require special efforts while decorating the venue.

Arrangements

One of the main advantages of using tropical flowers is their long shelf life. Most of them last for almost two weeks, and hence you can decorate the venue even a day before the wedding. A combination of these flowers and tropical foliage will be perfect as floral decorations for the wedding.
Nosegays, bouquets, leis, boutonnieres, corsages, etc. are some arrangements that can be prepared. Centerpieces can be made out of a combination of both tropical and traditional flowers. If it's a Hawaiian-themed wedding, you must have leis, haku, and Maile leis.
Leis are used as a token of happiness, joy, and love and are usually made from orchids. Haku is a hairpiece made out of flowers and ferns.
Tropical flowers can withstand heat for a longer period of time than compared to other traditional blossoms.
