Wording for Wedding Thank You Cards

Girija Shinde
Sending thank you cards is the last task in a perfect wedding, but one is often stuck at this simplest part. If you are also one of them, continue reading to know the correct wording for wedding thank you cards.
Wedding thank you cards are sent to express gratitude to your loved ones for sharing the momentous occasion with you. Sending thank you cards is not mandatory, but it is a general etiquette to thank the people who took out time and came for your wedding.
Thinking of wording for these cards should not be difficult, as it is not a formal business letter, just a simple thank you note to your loved ones.

Etiquette

  • Let your happiness about the gift reflect through your words. Do not write the thank you cards just for the sake of writing them.
  • Send the notes to everyone or to no one., specially in case of relatives. Sending a thank you card to one aunt and forgetting the other one will hurt the feelings.
  • Let the thank you note be handwritten, as it shows interest and concern for the other person.
  • Express gratitude not only for the gift, but also for their presence at your wedding.
